The Clinic
"Art in itself, is an attempt to bring order out of chaos”
Healing through art
At the clinic, we provide compassionate therapy for individuals struggling with anxiety, trauma, and depression. Blending cognitive-behavioral techniques, expressive arts therapy, and mindfulness, the clinic is a space for healing and personal growth.
Anxiety disorders
Anxiety makes it difficult to get through your day. Symptoms include feelings of nervousness, panic and fear as well as a rapid heartbeat.
Post-trauma
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health issue that may develop after a traumatic event. It causes negative, anxious emotions. Some people with PTSD relive the event over and over. Others avoid any reminders of it. PTSD interferes with life, work and relationships. But, medication and counseling can help, even years later.
Depression
Depression is a medical condition that affects your mood and ability to function. Depression types include clinical depression, bipolar depression, dysthymia, seasonal affective disorder and others.
Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is based on several core principles, including on learned patterns of unhelpful behavior.
CBT involves efforts to change thinking patterns.
Expressive Arts therapy (exa)
EXA uses the various disciplines or art to allow for the client to take a step away from the problem and enter a perspective and allow for surprises to emerge. The process uses imagination and images to build resources.
Mindfulness
Breathing techniques and integration of mindful meditation, visualization and imagination allow to integrate an embodied experience for the client, in addition to grounding and relaxation.
